Cool and cohesive space for a prominent city business
Kensington Partners, a highly people focussed financial company were keen to embrace a change that reflected the gentrification of its city location. Designing from the inside out with the Kensington people at the core was key. The main objective, to nurture employee wellbeing and drive business productivity in perfect symbiosis. Along with the clients brief and our industry expertise we built an innovative space celebrating best-practice design and reflecting our client’s culture of a place for efficiency and inspiration.
We considered sustainability throughout the building process and whenever possible, we made eco-conscious design decisions. Like careful space planning, maximising natural elements such as sunlight for overall wellbeing, and by introducing plant life and strategically placed shading to lessen the dependency on artificial lighting, cooling and heating within the office space. Through spatial assessment and selection of materials, we thought strategically about the products and suppliers we used for the commercial fitout. The design decisions made benefited the day-to-day operations by creating healthier, more uplifting work habitats for people to enjoy. And the clients were thrilled with the calmness of the space and the cohesiveness of the design, one where their business was allowed to take prominence.
